Getting started
How access works today, what to prepare, and what the first session will look like once a resource is released.
Current state
There is no self-service key and no public sandbox yet. Access to the ONIOKO API is granted during a controlled onboarding, against a real integration. The status page shows which resources are released.
How access works
- Conversation first. You describe which system ONIOKO should sit in (robot, avatar, practice system, platform) and whether compute may leave the device. The matching flow chart becomes the shared picture.
- Scope and contract. Purpose, data location, retention and deletion deadlines are fixed in the integration contract before any key exists.
- Controlled documentation. You receive the API reference, SDK and test access for the released resources. The same content appears here as soon as a resource is released publicly.
- First session against your system. Not against a demo. The first thing you see is a real signal from your own input, or an honest "unavailable".
What to prepare
- The consent flow on your side: how a person agrees, how they see that perception is active, how they revoke.
- The subject mapping: how your identities map to pseudonymous subjects, if you want ONIOKO to know nothing about real identities.
- The moments: which situations in your product should be perceived at all. ONIOKO never records continuously.
- Your deletion trigger: what in your product starts a deletion request, and where the receipt goes.
What the first 15 minutes will look like
Once Sessions, Perception and Consent are released, the minimal path is always the same, in every SDK:
1. create subject → a stable, pseudonymous reference
2. set consent → purpose, scope, duration
3. create session → bound to that subject
4. submit one input → audio, video or a stream
5. read signals → measured values, or "unavailable"
6. close sessionExact calls, fields and limits appear in the API reference the moment they are released. This page will then show the same six steps as runnable code.
Content and creators
A partner platform hands over a video, ONIOKO describes how the person in it comes across. Two videos side by side. Memory keeps how a creator comes across over weeks.
Integration contract
Who is responsible for what when ONIOKO runs inside a partner system, and which technical guarantees the platform enforces on every call.
